Are they really hand knit?
YES. Each and every set of Classic Headcovers is made and finished by the hands of the Santonil family. We are literally a "Mom and Pop" business! We select the yarn and discuss various designs. She knits the sleeve sets and they both work on the pom poms in the finishing stages. He also manages the business, marketing the products locally and maintaining this website. Our headcovers are unique in that they are all MADE BY HAND, NOT BY MACHINE. We use traditional knitting techniques, with four double-point needles per headcover. Some so-called "old school" headcover companies compromise by rocketing through the process with textile machines. Classic Headcovers does not sacrifice the quality care customers have come to expect.

What if I don't like my new headcovers?
Classic Headcovers
PROMISES to refund the purchase price (less shipping), or exchange in-kind (plus shipping), as long as you postmark and return your set within 10 (ten) days from the date you receive the goods .

Can I machine wash my hand knit headcovers?
YES. Your headcovers are made from durable 4-ply acrylic yarn made in the U.S.A.. They are color-fast, machine washable, and shrink-proof. We recommend that you clean them by hand-washing with mild soap, then air-dry. After a while, your headcovers may get fuzzy. You can refresh the look of your covers by using a lint shaver, or trim the poms with a sharp pair of scissors.

What is the standard fit on my clubs?
These classic headcovers are made to fit today's driver heads, up to the USGA limit of 460cc's. The standard headcover LENGTH begins around 16" for the driver, not including the pom-poms, then progressively shorter through the set. Standard (regular) size pom-poms MEASURE 4-5" in diameter. Fitting is important to attaining a "classic" look.

I am a golf retailer. Can I sell Classic Headcovers in my shop?
While it would be advantageous for Classic Headcovers to increase sales through golf pro shops and other sports retail establishments, experience has shown us that the nature and basic appeal of our headcovers derives from discerning golfers who have taken time to invest in their game. Likewise, Classic Headcovers takes all the time necessary to produce high-quality, custom headcovers. Each order is so unique, it becomes impracticable for us to mass produce these items. From PGA-managed country clubs to touring pros, to avid amateurs, our customers have found our products and services deserving of their patronage, and it is our aim to treat every order as a special one. As such, we RARELY offer wholesale prices, mark-downs, discounts, or other distribution margins for custom headcovers.

Do any Tour players use your headcovers?
YES. Our "staff" includes Tour players, PGA pros, aspiring amateurs, and qualifiers who demand timeless quality. We pioneered the internet in 2003 to bring a classic touch to golfers, opening portals for you to experience the quality few knew before. Our competitors are always checking us, trying to match our game! Visit other headcover companies, and see how Classic Headcovers leads the way.
HERE'S WHAT THEY ARE SAYING! We invite you to make your own statement about golf by sporting Classic Headcovers on the golf course.
